1) Allison Mack has opted not to return as a series lead for…

2) Smallville‘s tenth and final season.

EW’s Michael Ausiello reports that Mack will return “for several episodes next season to tie up Chloe’s Smallville legacy properly.” http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/05/19/allison-mack-smallville/#more-8361

Earlier Ausiello had reported that Tom Welling was “faster than a speeding bullet–and The CW’s PR department–in blabbing to the press two days before the network’s upfront presentation that season 10 would, indeed, be the last one.

Chloe, I'm going on a Red Kryptonite-fueled rampage if I don't fly before the show ends.
