COSPLAY CASTING CALL!

This casting submission just hit our in-box and we wanted to share it with everyone!

Accidental Films, has a deal with Sony and we are developing a reality show called Players (working title) that will follow selected cosplayers from convention to convention, masquerade to masquerade.

Any material received becomes the property of the production. These materials are for casting purposes only and not for air (nothing could air without written consent anyway) if that is a concern.

We haven’t decided whether it will be LA-centric yet. That decision will be based upon who we cast.

Do you Cosplay? Do you attend conventions in costume? Do you have what it takes to be on national television?

If so, a Los Angeles based film/television production company is searching for active cosplayers who take costuming seriously for a new reality series.

Please send a few photos of yourself in costume and out (street clothes please)…and a link to a video of you showing us your personality.

Video should be no more than 3 minutes and include:

Why cosplay is important to you?

Which conventions do you attend and how often?

Have you won any masquerade/costume contests? If so, which ones?

What you like about cosplay and what you don’t like about it?

Anything else you’d like to share about you!

A native of Glastonbury, Connecticut, Damian has lived in Los Angeles for more than four years. Having worked in front of, behind, and above the camera, he has become a “Jack of All Trades” in the entertainment biz. Damian has collected comic books since he was five years old, dressed up as super-heroes since he was six, and occasionally gets paid by companies to portray them at conventions across the country. More important, he uses his awesome powers for good.
