It’s always nice to come across an artist that has a style unique to anything you’ve seen before. Liam Brazier uses fracture and polygons to create some very cool images of legendary comic and movie figures.

As you can see, he’s crystalized The Dark Knight above, and his pal Superman is below. Under that is a whole host of Star Wars characters from Vader to Threepio. All of the images are available for sale at his Society6 site here.

The effect really is quite mesmerizing. It reminds me of a Photoshop filter that spent eight years getting a doctorate in fine art. I’ll look forward to seeing him continue the series.

About thatDjSpider

Spider grew up on an island in the Caribbean, where she was a voracious reader of both books and comics. Other than relocating to the US mainland, not much has changed. In addition to the general chaos of collecting comics and action figures, she is an avid costumer, a DJ of some reputation (good or bad, she ain't sayin'), a pretty good cook, and an all around goof. She currently pretends to find time to sleep in Charlotte, NC, with three cats and Petzilla, her partner-in-geek-crime. And yes, she really is that tall.
