During the first season of Wonder Woman (aka The New Original Wonder Woman) when the series was set in the 1940′s, the comics switched from present day to the 1940′s to match.

This lasted from issue #228 to #243.  In these issues, as in the television series, Diana changes into her Wonder Woman costume by means of Wonder Spin.

Below are some of my favorites.

From Wonder Woman Vol 1, # 231.  Pencils by Bob Brown, Inks by Vince Colletta.

Worlds Finest #247 Pencils by Don Heck, Ink by Vince Colletta.

Wonder Woman #230.  Pencils by Jose Delbo, Inks by Vince Colletta, Color by Jerry Serpe.

I LOVE this panel so much!  First, there’s a Wonder Spin.  Then, there’s Wonder attitude!!!  “All right, I’m Wonder Woman!  Now What?”

Splash page from Wonder Woman Vol 1, #238.  Pencils by Jose Delbo ,Ink by Vince Colletta, Colors by Liz Berube, Letters by Ben Oda, Story by Jerry Conway

Also from #238, the rarely seen Wonder Un-Spin back into Diana Prince.
