Here’s a flashback to Christmas 1986!

Gotham City’s Caped Crusaders realized they’ve been too busy fighting crime to shop for presents!

Holy Last Minute Shopping!  What do our intrepid crime fighters of the night do?  They hop in the Batmobile and head to Zayre Department Store, that’s what!

I have fond memories of shopping at Zayre on Highway 31 in Birmingham, when I was a child.  They had a great toy department!

There’s now a Books A Million and Burlington Coat Factory where it used to stand.

Anyway, this commercial is a nice homage to the 60′s series with costumes that look to have come from the Roger Hess produced Bugs Bunny Meets The Super Heroes, and the 1966 George Barris designed Batmobile.
