As the one year anniversary of the podcast approaches, Justin and Jason look to emphasise more facets of geek-chic culture than have been previously. However, there’s still a lot of love given to comics, with Think Tank #1, Ultimate Spider-man #12, and Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe #1 getting the biggest nods this week. Many more books get honorable mentions for ending arcs, starting new ones or simply being awesome.

Justin gives his review of the non-collectable, deck building card game Dominion and gives some updates on the D&D Next playtest. The geek-centric YouTube channels Nerdist and Geek & Sundry are discussed as the burgeoning Internet-based television market begins to swell.
